One is an ethical drinks brand, who in the past have released water and soft drinks, with the profits funding sustainable water projects in the world’s poorest communities. Teaming up with Blackdown distillery Master Distiller Sarah Thompson, One have released their own One Gin, with profits going towards the foundation’s mission to raise £20 million for water projects by 2020. An incredibly worthwhile cause.

The gin itself is made with a mixture of 9 classic gin botanicals, as well as a feature botanical – sage. The sage used is locally foraged from the grounds surrounding the distillery, and adds an intriguing savoury edge to the gin, carried by the brilliant mouth feel stemming from the seven-times-filtration method used after distillation.
