In the early-Autumn months, they forage for the finest sloe berries growing wild across the Lake District fells with Hattie (the Distillery Dog) keeping them entertained while they pick. Sloes are renowned for their intense plummy flavour, which they macerate in the Lakeland Moon Gin for months – most batches are closer to a full year – which allows them to infuse their classic plummy-tartness and vibrant and fruity aroma into the spirit.

Each batch is different to the last according to the year that the berries were picked, with 2024’s batch macerating for 11 months.

Bottled at 25% ABV and always produced in small batches at their eco-distillery in the Lake District.
