The most popular decaffeinated coffee in the UK is processed using the MC Decaf – Methylene Chloride method and this is the process we use for this coffee as it is effective both in terms of flavour and cost. The coffee is grown, harvested and processed at origin, exactly how any other coffee would be, then shipped to a decaffeination plant in Germany. Our decaf coffee is 100% Arabica beans, from Central and South America.

To experience this coffee at its absolute best, we recommend using one heaped dessertspoon per cup. You can experiment with this by playing with the dosage of water and coffee to suit your taste for each different blend or origin and brewing method. You can brew with filter, chemex and V60. For cafetiere add fresh water just off the boil and allow the flavour to develop for 3-4 minutes.
