From the heart of Cumbria, home to the English Lakes, Wild & Fruitful have been creating amazing tastes from local produce for over 20 years.
Their extensive product range now includes Chutneys, Sauces, Jams, Marmalades, Honey and Peanut Butter.
Using traditional methods, every product they make is 100% natural with no artificial colours or additives. They make everything in small batches following recipes that have been skilfully developed to bring out the taste of the wonderful country produce we use.
Wild & Fruitful have developed strong relationships with local Cumbrian growers, reducing food miles by using fresh local country produce, whether from a local fruit grower, an allotment producing vegetables, or a hedgerow packed full of plump blackberries. Now under the direction of award-winning Keswick based chef Jake Winter, a Cumbrian born and bred, Jake’s passion for Cumbrian produce has forged new partnerships with local growers and ingredient suppliers.
The Strawberries in their Extra Strawberry Jam and Strawberry & Rose Petal Jam are home grown by Cochranes Nurseries in Longtown, in the North of the County. At the other end of Cumbria, they source their Damsons from the beautiful Lyth and Winster Valleys in the South Lakes, an area recognised for the quality of their Westmorland Damsons.
They also take both fruit and vegetables in season from the Walled Garden on the Lingholm Estate near Keswick in the Northern Lakes.
