Cold pressed, extra virgin rapeseed oil naturally infused with chillies. For those who like it hot!
Grown in the beautiful Eden Valley.
Rapeseed oil is quickly growing in popularity due to both its nutritional values and cooking properties. As one of the healthiest cooking oils, it is also a firm favourite amongst chefs due to its mild nutty taste and high smoke point.
Cold pressing the seed gently extracts the superior oil without using heat or chemicals, to produce a healthy, pure product. Grown in Britain it can also help to reduce food miles.
HIGH IN OMEGA 3, 6 AND 9
These essential fatty acids, also found in fish, can help to reduce cholesterol and maintain healthy heart, brain and joint function. The optimal ratio of omega 3 to 6 is also naturally occurring in rapeseed oil.
HIGH IN VITAMIN E
A natural and powerful antioxidant benefitting the immune system, hair and skin.
LESS SATURATED FATS
Rapeseed oil has less saturated fats than any other commonly used cooking oil. With half the saturated fat of olive oil, it helps to maintain a healthy heart and is a valuable part of a healthy balanced diet.
HIGHER SMOKE POINT
Rapeseed oil can be heated to higher temperatures (230c) compared to other cooking oils like olive oil, making it ideal to cook with as it retains its nutritional benefits, taste and colour.
You can use rapeseed oil like any other cooking oil! Roast your potatoes, fry the eggs, bake a cake, mix a salad dressing, make a hummus dip! We’d love to see your creations!
